SUMMARY
We are seeking a talented and experienced Applications / Product Development Engineer at its corporate plastics manufacturing facility located in New Jersey. This role will work closely with the Technical Director focusing on supporting the development of polyethylene, flexible packaging products for industrial and food applications from inception to commercial scale up. Successful candidates will :
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the development of film extrusions process to optimize throughput and minimize scrap.
- Run Field tests for developed film products at customer sites and provide feedback.
- Assigning Engineering specifications of films for customer samples.
- Support raw material selections and qualifications.
- Coordinate with Operations, Sales, and Marketing functional areas to assist growing the business.
- Have excellent verbal / written communication skills at all levels within the organization to accomplish objectives.
