Receiving Supervisor

SUMMARY

Seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor with in-depth knowledge of warehousing operations and stocking systems. Candidates with a strong background in inventory management will be especially valued. This role offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment while ensuring efficient and safe warehouse practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage daily warehouse operations and personnel to achieve performance goals.
• Oversee vendor deliveries, ensuring accurate unloading and matching items against purchase orders.
• Coordinate and supervise the unloading, staging, and inspection of received materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system as goods are received.
• Promptly resolve discrepancies between packing slips and purchase orders.
• Ensure efficient and safe movement of materials from receiving to storage areas.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate the receiving team; enforce safety procedures and operational guidelines.
• Monitor storage practices to optimize space and ensure inventory rotation and compliance with safety standards.
• Schedule and manage incoming deliveries to support warehouse flow.
• Ensure adherence to all procedures and documentation requirements in line with company policy.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in warehouse supervision required.
• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficient in warehouse management systems and data entry processes.
• Strong computer skills with expertise in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP systems.
• Demonstrates calm and effective problem-solving capabilities.
• Able to implement and enforce operational policies and procedures.
• Professional interpersonal skills for team engagement and leadership.
• Excellent organizational and delegation abilities.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
• Physically able to lift and carry items exceeding 50 lbs without assistance.

COMPENSATION: $58,000 - $60,000
