RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute tactical procurement strategies to meet site objectives.
- Coordinate material management functions including purchasing, planning, scheduling, logistics, and warehousing.
- Partner with enterprise supply chain leadership to maintain alignment with strategic goals.
- Analyze logistics and shipping data to address bottlenecks and drive process improvements.
- Measure and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) at the site level.
- Source cost-efficient alternatives and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.
- Oversee vendor management activities ensuring compliance and quality standards.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and effective materials tracking to avoid shortages and excesses.
- Work cross-functionally with operations, engineering, manufacturing, and finance teams to support growth.
- Mitigate risks related to backorders and material availability for manufacturing schedules.
- Lead the implementation of legal, regulatory, and safety-compliant supply chain practices.
- Coach and supervise team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in materials management or engineering within a manufacturing environment, preferably medical devices.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to train and delegate responsibilities effectively.
- Comprehensive understanding of global supply chain processes and vendor relations.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations, customs compliance, and logistics operations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in data analysis, ERP systems (especially Microsoft D365), and Microsoft Teams.
- Project management experience with strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel up to 15–20%.
Salary : $90,000 - $95,000
