We are looking for a talented and competitive Strategic Account Manager that thrives in a remote environment. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious goals supporting clients nationally.
Position Summary:
● Executes sales strategy within assigned vascular access targets
● You will support existing Spectrum Vascular customers and gain new customers nationally by engaging in business development, sales team support, comprehensive customer training and post sales follow up.
● Responsible for creating and fostering sales leads, meeting or exceeding sales goals, and providing excellent customer service
● Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
● Manage the complex sales process of Spectrum Vascular into new and existing clients
● Develop and implement sales activities to achieve and exceed goals set by leadership
● Identify key institutions, generate market awareness, and drive sales.
● Develop initial contact with key vascular access stakeholders (healthcare professionals, supply chain personnel and administrators)
● Build support through technical presentations, executive meetings, and marketing events
● Support the expansion of clinical usage in all accounts
● Development and grow long term sales relationships in a variety of environments which may include Community hospitals, academic medical centers, and office-based labs
● Understand customer needs and requirements.
● Adhere to monthly reports analyzing regional business performance
● Foster the development of key opinion leaders to create strong corporate relationships
● Provide updates to management regarding competition, product use, clinical updates, reimbursement, and other important business metrics
● Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
● Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
● Develop a strong understanding of Spectrum Vasculars products.
● Participate as an integral member of the sales leadership team that develops, delivers, and improves programs and training events
Position Requirements:
· 3 years’ experience supporting business/sales development function within biomedical industry.
- Medical device experience preferred
· Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills
· Strong listening and presentation skills
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
· BA/BS degree or equivalent
Compensation
Market Compensation with full benefits, bonus and above market commission structure with matching 401k.
