Position Overview:
We're seeking a proactive Health, Safety, and Environmental Specialist to develop and oversee comprehensive safety programs across all our branches. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional who can effectively implement and communicate safety protocols while fostering a strong culture of workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement comprehensive health, safety, and environmental programs
- Conduct thorough safety audits and inspections across all facilities
- Identify potential hazards and develop effective corrective action plans
- Lead engaging health and safety training sessions for all employees
- Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports, and implement preventative measures
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements
- Partner with leadership to cultivate a company-wide safety-first mindset
- Maintain meticulous documentation of all health and safety activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
- 3-5 years of experience in health and safety, with chemical or wastewater industry experience highly valued
- Current OSHA 30 Certification (required)
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Outstanding communication skills with ability to effectively engage at all organizational levels
- Self-motivated with strong teamwork orientation
- Professional certifications (CSP, CIH) advantageous

Pay: $65,000.00 - $82,500.00 per year
