We're seeking a proactive Health, Safety, and Environmental Specialist to develop and oversee comprehensive safety programs across all our branches. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional who can effectively implement and communicate safety protocols while fostering a strong culture of workplace safety.

Spectrum Water Technology works with clients across North America to engineer and implement customized solutions to wastewater challenges of all kinds. Our in-house wastewater laboratory allows us to study your waste stream and identify any inefficiencies in your waste treatment process. Our team has decades of combined wastewater treatment experience, and there is no waste challenge that we can’t handle.
Spectrum Water Technology works with clients across North America to engineer and implement customized solutions to wastewater challenges of all kinds. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement comprehensive health, safety, and environmental programs
- Conduct thorough safety audits and inspections across all facilities
- Identify potential hazards and develop effective corrective action plans
- Lead engaging health and safety training sessions for all employees
- Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports, and implement preventative measures
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements
- Partner with leadership to cultivate a company-wide safety-first mindset
- Maintain meticulous documentation of all health and safety activities
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
- 3-5 years of experience in health and safety, with chemical or wastewater industry experience highly valued
- Current OSHA 30 Certification (required)
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Outstanding communication skills with ability to effectively engage at all organizational levels
- Self-motivated with strong teamwork orientation
- Professional certifications (CSP, CIH) advantageous
