Field Technician
We are seeking a Field Technician to join our team. As a Field Technician, you will be the face of our products and services, working with customers to install and repair services, and educating them on proper use of their equipment.
About the Role
This is an entry-level role that requires excellent customer service and technical skills. You will work independently with minimal supervision, using hand tools and navigating various working conditions and locations.
- Work in the field, installing and repairing services for residential customers.
- Provide world-class customer service and educate customers on proper use of their equipment.
- Perform basic installations, disconnects, downgrades, and upgrades.
- Complete reconnects as trained.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Technical skills: problem solver with a technical aptitude, computer and software application use, accurately measure distances, work with hand tools.
- Skills: communication, professionalism, time management, organization, critical thinking, responsible/reliable.
- Abilities: interpret analytics from soft tools such as meters and handheld devices, troubleshooting, read, write, and speak English.
- Physical abilities: walk over all types of terrain in all kinds of weather, safely use weight-bearing equipment, lift up to 90 lbs, climb ladders to a height of 32 feet, work in confined spaces and at heights.
- A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record within company standards.
