What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Technician Aerial position at SPECTRUM?

You will be responsible for assisting with all types of network construction, including aerial, underground, and MDU projects. This will involve working closely with our construction organization to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Moving, securing, and loading/unloading cable equipment, tools, and materials as directed.
- Digging holes, trenches, and filling them, burying conduit and cables, and performing restoration work.
- Pulling lasher, strand, and cable from pole to pole.
- Performing traffic control and flagging as necessary.
- Adhering to industry-specific regulations and following safety requirements.
- Operating and maintaining crew vehicles.
We are looking for individuals who are able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks effectively and using computer software applications.
To be considered for this role, you should possess a high school diploma or equivalent work experience, and a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of basic mathematics and electronic testing equipment.
- Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
- Commercial Drivers License (CDL) or ability to obtain one.
