We are seeking an experienced Senior Director, Engineering to join our leadership team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing engineering teams and driving business results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engineering strategies and plans.
- Manage engineering staff and facilities, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
- Create and enhance consistent engineering practices to ensure stable product delivery.
- Evaluate and consult with executive management on technical operations and strategic planning.
- Direct quality control programs for engineering operations.
- Review selections on bids for contracted projects and provide recommendations as necessary.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 9 years of management experience.
- 12 years of engineering and/or maintenance experience.
- 5 years of project management experience.
- Industry and vendor specific certifications and training (NCTI, SCTE, BCT/E).
- Advanced knowledge of electronic theory.
- Advanced knowledge of fiber optic theory.
- Comprehensive understanding of applicable local and state rules and regulations.
