What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Security Governance Expert position at SPECTRUM?
Spectrum is a leader in providing innovative telecommunications solutions, and our Information Security team plays a vital role in protecting our customers' sensitive information. As a Senior Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for leading technical risk assessments, developing security controls and processes, guiding risk assessment processes, and collaborating with other teams.
To excel in this role, you will need 6 years of IT/IT Security and/or Corporate Risk/Audit Work experience, including 4 years of IT Risk Management and/or IT Internal Audit experience. A Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field is required, along with one of the following certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CEH.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in IT Audits, IT Risk Management, Information Security, and Technical Privacy.
- Knowledge of network and application security assessment tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with UNIX, Windows Servers, databases, mainframe, firewalls, routers, wireless environments, mobile devices, and cloud computing.
