Job Description
This is an entry-level position with opportunities for training and professional growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the construction organization in daily work procedures and supporting the team in various aspects of network installation.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and quality.
A key responsibility of this role will be to move, secure, load/unload cable equipment tools, or other materials as directed in plans or by supervisors.
The job also involves digging holes, trenches, and filling them back up, burying conduit and cables, performing restoration of holes and trenches, pulling lashers, strands, and cables from pole to pole, and adhering to industry-specific local, state, and federal regulations.
Additional duties may include operating and maintaining crew vehicles, following all company policies and procedures, understanding Charters strand routing and design maps, and being familiar with aerial, underground, and MDU construction materials and equipment.
