What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Sales Operations Manager position at SPECTRUM?
As a Senior Sales Operations Manager at Spectrum, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Multi-Tenant Sales Manager by overseeing the day-to-day activities of the sales department.
You will actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience, ensuring that customers receive exceptional service and support.
You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales goals, which includes supervising a team of sales representatives and managing other sales resources as assigned.
You will recruit, interview, hire, and train sales representatives to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.
You will support sales staff with approximately 70% field work and 30% office work, communicating territory assignments to representatives and monitoring the payroll process to ensure timely and accurate commission payments.
You will handle employee relations issues, including performance appraisals, coaching, safety training, and other related matters.
You will assist with budget preparation and provide input on marketing issues and sales offers, performing other duties as requested by your supervisor.
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge:
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Knowledge of community sales practices
- Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record within Company required standards, and auto insurance
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in business or marketing, or equivalent experience required
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years:
Sales experience - 1
Sales supervisory experience preferred - 0.5
Telecommunications and cable industry experience preferred
