The SaaS Web User Interface UI Technician is responsible for developing and implementing a secure, scalable Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) web portal to facilitate the presentation and dissemination of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) data and analytical fused products. The ideal candidate will ensure that the portal meets strict security, authentication, and scalability requirements while providing a seamless user experience. Travel is required.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and deploy a secure, scalable SaaS web portal supporting at least 1,000 concurrent users.
- Implement secure login and authentication mechanisms, including Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) authentication.
- Develop account management features, including account creation, access control, and privilege management.
- Enable document upload, validation, publication, retrieval, and storage functionalities.
- Integrate an Application Programming Interface (API) that aligns with the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering, API Technical Guidance.
- Conduct rigorous security and performance testing to ensure compliance, reliability, and scalability.
- Provide regular progress updates, technical documentation, and testing reports.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders, including EMS data analysts, IT security teams, and system administrators, to ensure smooth implementation.
- Optimize UI / UX to enhance usability while maintaining security and compliance standards.
Requirements
Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related field.
