Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive financial analysis and due diligence for real estate investment opportunities, portfolio management, and financial reporting.
- Prepare financial models, forecasts, and reports for various stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
- Analyze operating performance, budgets, and cash flows for a variety of real estate assets and investment opportunities.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, supporting documentation, and quarterly/annual reports for investors, senior management, and regulatory purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, acquisitions, and finance to evaluate investment opportunities and market conditions.
- Provide valuable insights and recommendations to senior leadership on business performance and potential operational improvements.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives, including capital raising, acquisitions, and divestitures of real estate assets.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and analyses as requested by senior executives, leveraging your expertise to solve complex business challenges.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certifications are highly preferred).
- 2-4 years of experience in public accounting, with a strong understanding of financial reporting, auditing, and tax principles.
- Experience working with real estate clients, particularly in the areas of investment analysis or financial modeling, is a significant plus.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling, with the ability to manage complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, SAP, or similar) is preferred.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present and explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
