Job Description:
SpectrumOne Sports is seeking compassionate and experienced (current or previously certified) RBT Sports Coaches to provide private, in-home sports lessons for children with autism (ages 5-15) in the Conroe, Spring, and The Woodlands areas. Our program is designed to enhance sports skills, motor development, and sensory integration while promoting confidence and fun in an inclusive environment.
Coaches will deliver 1-hour weekly sessions tailored to each child’s needs and abilities. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in ABA therapy, special education, or experience working with children with autism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct 1:1 in-home sports lessons in basketball, volleyball, football, soccer, or baseball.
- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to meet each child’s unique needs and goals.
- Foster a positive and encouraging environment to help children build confidence and skills.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about progress and goals.
- Ensure safety and engagement throughout each session.
Qualifications:
- Experience in ABA therapy as a current or previously certified RBT (mandatory).
- Previous coaching or sports experience (preferred).
- Strong understanding of autism and sensory integration techniques.
- Willing to travel to clients' homes in the Cypress, Conroe, Spring, and The Woodlands areas.
- Available Monday-Friday between the hours of 3PM-7PM & Saturday between the hours of 9AM-7PM
