Job Title: School Psychologist
Location: Hayward, California
Compensation: $1,000 per completed assessment & IEP meeting
Sped Consulting is seeking a licensed School Psychologist to join our team on a per diem basis. This role offers full flexibility, allowing you to take on as much workload as you’d like, based on availability. If you don’t have the bandwidth, you are not required to commit—but if you do, you’ll be compensated $1,000 per completed assessment and IEP meeting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, and social-emotional functioning.
- Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Participate in IEP meetings to present assessment findings and provide expert input on interventions.
- Provide counseling and mental health support to students experiencing behavioral, emotional, or academic challenges.
- Support school staff with behavior management strategies to foster a positive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and document reports in compliance with California state requirements.
Qualifications:
✔ Must hold a valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology.
✔ Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and developing IEPs.
✔ Familiarity with California special education laws and regulations.
✔ Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
✔ Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
✔ Commitment to supporting the educational and emotional needs of students.
