Job Summary
The Hub Senior Operations Manager will oversee and coordinate the operations of the hub, including warehouse, CDL, and day operations.
Hours and Wages
- Exempt salary position
- Starting wage is $83,000 - $109,000, based on relevant years of experience, education, certifications, and comparison to other employees already in this role
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure all regional operations are completed
- Prepare, manage, and track regional reports
- Enforce safety, DOT, and company policies
- Review and analyze expenditures and other financial information and provide cost-saving recommendations
- Develop and implement goals and objectives for hub operations, including warehouse, CDL, and day operations
- Implement safety audits and train staff members on safety issues
- Ensure that customer difficulties or problems are investigated and resolved
- Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
- Address and de-escalate all operational concerns
- Actively participate in hiring and community outreach events in the region
- Facilitate monthly leadership meetings
- Hire, train, discipline, and onboard new staff
- Some travel is required
- Perform other required duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent management skills

- Strong organizational and project management skills, including meeting deadlines and achieving results
- Thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local and company safety policies
- Demonstrate sound judgment and decision making considering relative costs and benefits of potential actions; critical thinking logic and reasoning to identify solutions
- Proficient with computer-based management systems and Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Education and Experience
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Operations Management or related field preferred
- 5 years of experience in the transportation industry and leadership preferred
- Must hold a valid CDL Class A driver's license OR successfully complete Company paid CDL training program
Physical Requirements
- Ability to pass a DOT physical exam
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to work with all types to freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals
