What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trucking Operator position at Spee-Dee Delivery Service?
We are seeking a skilled Trucking Operator to join our team at Spee Dee Delivery Service. As a Trucking Operator, you will be responsible for operating a tractor-trailer combination or straight truck to transport parcels between terminals.
The successful candidate will have a valid CDL Class A driver's license and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. They will also be required to conduct pre-trip inspections before driving to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment are in good working order.
We offer a competitive salary of $23.00-$27.00 per hour, based on experience, as well as a shift premium of $2.00 for start times between 5:00pm - 4:59am.
