The corporate headquarters and main sort facility is located in St. Cloud, MN. We currently employ over 1,800 employees company wide and over the years we have expanded to 36 branch locations, within 9 states.
Job Summary
The Building Maintenance individual will maintain the appearance and function of company property and equipment.
Hours and Wages
- Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM
- Starting Wage : $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience
Duties and Responsibilities
Operate powered equipment to mow and upkeep lawnsGather and remove litterRemove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking lotsSpread salt in common areas during the winterPerform routine preventative maintenance to ensure buildings, systems, and machines are operating efficientlyDiagnose heating and cooling problems and determine how to correct themRepair and clean warehouse tracks for efficient flow of freightReplace light bulbsRelocate office furnitureClean and maintain appearance of offices, common areas, and vehiclesInventory and order parts as neededPerform warehouse and related other duties as assignedSkills and Abilities
Mechanical inclination is preferredAbility to work independently under minimal supervisionEducation and Experience
At least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious cleaning, custodial, or maintenance positions preferredHold a valid Driver's License with a good driving record which meets company standardsPhysical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionallySome overhead lifting involvedFull range of motion with no limits on grasping, standing, squatting, stair climbing, walking, etc.Work environment requires time spent outdoors in changing weather elements as well as in a vehicleAbility to work with all types to freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animalsBenefits
