At SATC-CCA, we provide a therapeutic approach to learning. Our school is for nonverbal / minimally verbal children with other developmental disorders. Our mission is to create a nurturing, therapeutic environment where every child has an opportunity to reach their full potential.

What you will do:
~ Support our teachers and teachers assistant.
~ Work on therapeutic and positive based approaches to learning
~ Work with the children on their daily assignments
~ Execute lesson plans and daily activities for children
~ Support children with diverse needs as they learn, grow, and develop essential skills.
~ Provide a positive learning environment
~Help track progress and celebrate ~ no matter how small or big!
~Patience, compassion, understanding.
**This position does require physical fitness and stamina to keep up with energetic students.**
Required Experience:
* Must have previous experience (at least 2 years) with children in an educational, therapeutic, and/or school setting
* Previous experience working with children ASD, sensory processing disorders, and other developmental and learning challenges
* Must have the ability to understand body language and potential signs of sensory overload.
This position does require a background check and professional references.
