Speech Innovations of Central Florida is a private therapy practice offering pediatric Speech and Occupational therapy services.
Speech Innovations is looking for an administrative / patient service coordinator to provide professional support following established standards and practices.
This is a FULL TIME position MONDAY - FRIDAY from 9:30am- 6:00pm. After school hours required.
Responsibilities:
Represents clinic in a professional manner. Treats all clients and staff in a courteous and cooperative manner.
Front Desk responsibilities including but not limited to answering phones, calling PCP offices, faxing documents, reviewing referrals, filing, scheduling clients
Performs billing or collection duties as assigned and assist administrative team in other duties as deemed necessary.
Attends required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 -3 years experience in an administrative position within a medical office environment
Minimum of High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor degree preferred
Working knowledge of billing/insurance processes and guidelines
Ability to multi-task in a quick paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Ability to communicate with coworkers, providers and clients in an effective manner.
Ability to use a computer and enter data in electronic medical record system.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
3 years medical billing experience in medical office environment.
Therapy practice billing experience preferred
Must provide 3-4 professional references of recent work history- please submit with your resume
