Summary/Objective
The Custodian will clean the company facility, including washrooms, therapy rooms, offices, carpet and flooring, furniture, toilets, etc, to provide a safe and healthy workplace.
Specific Duties
- Clean and sanitize therapy rooms, waiting room, office area, break room and therapy, equipment
- Sweep and mop floors, as well as vacuuming carpets
- Clean and sanitize all bathroom facilities, including toilets, and sinks
- Clean mirrors and windows as needed
- Wash and sanitize dishes, trays, utensils, and other items used in feeding session. Properly dispose of food waste
- Collect and bag all garbage from each room, placing the tied bags in the dumpster
- Disinfect and clean all trash cans Refill paper towel, tissue, toilet paper and hand soap in all dispensers in each room
- Change light bulbs
- Assist with minor repairs (Examples: unclogging a sink, tightening chair bolts) as trained
- Keep an inventory of cleaning supplies
General Duties
- Pest Control
- Assist with pest control (Example: Spray around facility for pests)
- Adhere to all SOTS policies and procedures
- Follow the proper chain of command with questions
- Cooperative attitude in performing a variety of tasks as assigned
