Role Objective:
The Injection Operator is responsible involving continuous coordination of production-related activities and the ability to perform routine maintenance activities. Uses effective communication to meet production objectives with the highest standard of quality, efficiency safety and housekeeping.

Safety & Quality Control:
- Promote a safe work environment and enforce safety rules to be followed.
- Maintain a well-organized and safe production environment throughout the day.
- Ensure all production processes adhere to established quality standards.
- Conduct quality checks on finished goods and materials/supplies
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor injection molding machines
- Snap donuts and pack as needed
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Follow company Productivity, Safety, Cost and Continuous Improvement Programs.
Essential Functions:
- Follow process parameters as needed for quality production.
- Daily; monitor production to ensure proper quality, and cost control objectives are being met.
- Daily; address press related issues, report to Injection Team Leader for resolution.
- Daily; maximize the amount of regrind being used in the process.
- Daily; ensure proper housekeeping within the department
Physical Demands/Requirements:
- Must be capable of performing the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods, lifting heavy equipment (up to 60 lbs), and operating machinery as needed
Work Environment/Conditions:
- The role may require flexibility in working hours, including weekend work and overtime as necessary.
- Compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, including wearing steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and other designated gear as needed.
- Work in a factory environment with potential exposure to warm conditions during the summer months.
Education/Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in operations or a related field, with a strong understanding of machinery operation and safety protocols.
