Housekeeping/Laundry

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing laundry services to ensure that all linens and garments are properly cleaned and presented. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hotel environment and possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional service.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Change bed linens and towels, ensuring that all items are fresh and clean.
• Manage laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and garments.
• Handle dry cleaning requests and ensure timely processing of items.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and guests.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or services.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.

Skills

• Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization.
• Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning supplies.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.49 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Holidays
• Morning shift

Experience:

• Housekeeping: 3 years (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Flagstaff, AZ 86001 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Flagstaff, AZ 86001: Relocate before starting work (Required)
