We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dismantler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and service, with experience in dismantling vehicles. This role is crucial for ensuring that parts are efficiently removed and prepared for resale or recycling. The Dismantler will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing hand tools and equipment to safely dismantle vehicles while adhering to safety protocols.
*Pay starts at $18 per hour to train but includes an opportunity to move to commission after with ability to earn $50-80k
Responsibilities
- Dismantle vehicles systematically, following schematics and guidelines to ensure all parts are removed without damage.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to disassemble automotive components.
- Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring all removed parts are cataloged and stored properly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily dismantling targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies during the dismantling process.
Qualifications
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Previous experience in dismantling vehicles is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
