As a Fabrication Manager at Speedrack Products Group, you will play a key role in the daily operations of our business including production, safety, and maintenance. You will collaborate with a talented team of employee-owners to deliver high-quality warehouse racking solutions for our customers. Key responsibilities:
- Leads the roll-forming, welding and maintenance teams
- Responsible for actively supporting Continuous Improvement initiatives of the facility
- Meets or exceeds facility objectives through leading teams, prioritizing schedules, organizing and monitoring work processes
- Adheres to 5-S and Lean Manufacturing techniques
- Assigns responsibilities, delegates authority, trains and evaluates employees
- Contributes to the team with recommendations for implementing new procedures and processes
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge with internal and external customers
- Must maintain general housekeeping and orderly work are
- Must adhere to all safety and environmental policies
- All other duties as assigned by the Production Manager or any member of Management
Qualifications:
- Proven knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
- Proven background as a leader in Safety and Quality
- Proficient in software applications such as Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.
- Must have 5 to 7 years of experience as a production supervisor in a manufacturing setting.
- 3 years of roll forming and welding experience

Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
