We are seeking resumes for Robot Operators. Ideal candidates will be energetic and must possess a desire to succeed.
Essential Duties and Requirements:
· Responsible for actively supporting Continuous Improvement initiatives of the facility.
· Verify production runs with Lead and assist with determining schedules.
· Determine and locate material to be used and set up machine per requirements.
· Drive Forklift and/or other industrial equipment as needed.
· Keep accurate and precise counts on material loaded, unloaded, or moved.
· Accurately measure parts.
· Complete visual inspections on parts including welds.
· Accurately complete 1st inspection once or twice as required by the product.
· Tag parts and log required information on the production log.
· Enter data on the computer daily.
· Troubleshoot and adjust machine as needed.
· Relay issues/concerns to Lead or Supervisor.
· Band material with a manual or electric bander.
· Assist other departments when needed.
· Must maintain general housekeeping and an orderly work area.
· Responsible for all other procedures and instructions as required by the job function.
· Must adhere to all safety and environmental policies.
· All other duties as assigned by a Supervisor, Lead Person, or any member of Management.
Knowledge, Skills and abilities required:
- Requires ability to read & write
- Must be able to accurately read a tape measure
- Ability to successfully pass a written exam and physical observation test for an Industrial Truck Permit
- The ability to adjust to changing job functions
- Capable of working well with co-workers of different cultural backgrounds
- High school Diploma or GED preferred
