Seasonal-Event Security
Overview :
Event Security Staff at Atlanta Motor Speedway play an integral role in working with all departments to fulfill our mission of :
Taking care of teammates
Hosting remarkable events
Positively impacting our community
Profitably improving
Event Staff will work under the direction of the Events / Operations Managers. This is a SEASONAL Position. Possibly working only one-two days a month.
Responsibilities (may include but not limited to) :
Respond to any security or safety issue that may arise during an event
Monitor designated work area, and parked vehicles to ensure security and deter theft or vandalism
Report suspicious activity
Maintain a visible presence to provide event attendees with a sense of safety and security
Ensure that only authorized individuals are allowed to be in certain locations, and monitor access points
Have the ability to handle conflicts, defuse tensions, and prevent situations from escalating into violence
Event Staff Requirements
Ability to lift 25 lbs
Flexible schedule (mostly weekends / nights)
Positive attitude with a willingness to work as a team
Professional appearance
Must have a valid driver’s license
Ability to work outside for extended periods of time (extreme weather conditions included)
Ability to multi-task and handle stressful situations
Excellent customer service and communication skills
