Description
SMI Properties is seeking an Warehouse Coordinator. This role assists in many areas of the daily operation. Greatly involved in the shipping and receiving for the entire facility, while also providing support as orders move through the different stages of production. This position will work closely with the Managers and Leads of different departments.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Receive inbound shipments, inspecting for shortage, damage, or quality issues
- Review inbound / outbound orders to confirm all needed information is provided prior to processing
- Ensure orders are picked correctly and packed to customer specifications
- Efficiently operate shipping software to coordinate pickups with all carriers
- Verify orders in Traverse as completed
- Assist in performing cycle counts of finished inventory and components as needed
- Ensure all customer orders arrive correctly and on time
- Work with correct staff to assist in resolving customer complaints and disputes
- Manage and maintain a clean and organized work space and environment
- Ensure all received goods are put away in the proper location.
- Work with production staff to coordinate proper receipt of completed products
- Other duties as assigned
