Delivery Driver - Memphis

This position is through an independent FEDEX contractor. We are hiring for Delivery Drivers

This position is through an independent contractor of FedEx Ground. Drivers are responsible for delivery and pickups of packages. We are looking for responsible and Safe Drivers who can provide excellent customer service and follow delivery procedures in a safe and efficient manner, with safety being our number one priority. Driver must be responsible, have an excellent time management skill, be self-motivated, reliable, energetic and must have excellent navigation skills and be extremely proficient with use of Google Maps.

6 working day position

*SCHEDULE WILL BE SET BY THE SUPERVISOR*

Work hours vary on the efficiency of the driver.

Full time position based out of FedEx Ground terminal at Memphis, TN 77075. Drivers are expected to report to the FedEx Terminal at 8:00 a.m. sharp.

All candidates will undergo background and driving record checks for approval by FedEx

TEAM DRIVERS ENJOY:

ABOUT THE JOB:

· Considered a Full Time Employment

· Lift, lower and carry packages up to 150lbs - average packages are small

· Between 6 and 8 hours a day of work.

· Training is provided by Managers and Supervisors

· Vehicle stop thresholds and documented miles apply

· Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED.

· Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma.

ABOUT YOU

· Must be over 21 years old.

· Have a valid driver license.

· Must Pass a criminal background check.

· No felonies * Pass a drug screen.

· Must have excellent navigation skills and be extremely proficient with use of Google Maps.

· Have a clean driving record (1 point/ticket, no DUI's, and no suspensions).

· Must be willing to work a rotating schedule, including weekends.

· Preferably domiciled in the Memphis, TN metropolitan area.

· Able to Lift 150lbs Packages (if needed) - average packages are small

· Prior delivery experience is preferred but not required (non-CDL, Uber and Lyft qualify).

· Must have reliable transportation to and from Terminal.

· Comply with company appearance guidelines

· Must have an Android or iPhone cell phone with data

EXPERIENCE:

· Commercial Driving: 1 year (non-CDL, Uber and Lyft qualify)

· Delivery driver: 1 year

· FedEx, Amazon, UPS, USPS and similar experience is preferred but not required

LICENSE:

· Class C (Required) - F ENDORCEMENT

· Valid Driver's License (Required)
