What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at Speedy Delivery LLC?
We’re looking for experienced, reliable delivery drivers to handle consistent weekly routes to retail locations. The work involves transporting goods from a central warehouse to stores with routes ranging from local to further destinations like Albany, Binghamton, or Jamestown.(These are the farthest routes, though we have a variety of other routes available.)
Requirements:
- You must have a 26ft Box Truck with Lift Gate – No exceptions.
- Must be able to load and unload truck.
- Scan individual boxes at each stop and complete delivery paperwork (signature required for delivery completion).
- Deliveries must be made within the designated shipment time window.
- Typical Pickup Times: Between 2 AM and 8 AM.
- Routes vary in distance and location, with multiple stops per route.
Pay Structure:
- Compensation depends on the route distance, ranging from $425 to $750 per route.
This is steady, weekly work, and we need drivers who can consistently deliver with reliability and attention to detail.
