Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks, including but not limited to pulling auto parts off cars, restocking parts, and general cleaning of salvage yard.
Responsibilities
-Remove parts from vehicles, some that are already off and some that are still on.
- Utilize tools for cutting, drilling, and other tasks
- Operate forklifts and other machinery as needed
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
- Assist in loading and unloading materials
-Breaking down tires on a tire machine (we are willing to train)
Requirements
- Prior experience in automotives
- Proficiency with mechanical knowledge and power tools
- Ability to work efficiently in all weather types
- Proficiency with hand tools and mechanical knowledge
- Ability to operate forklift on gravel and dirt
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs by yourself)
