We are a lively convenience store and gas station that buzzes with activity during the midday and early evening hours. As a Cashier and Sales Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering excellent customer service and creating a positive shopping experience.
Your responsibilities will include managing the store's appearance and stock, handling a high volume of transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You will also collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and promote a positive customer experience.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide top-notch customer service and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked store environment, including the coffee station, restrooms, and outdoor areas.
- Process transactions efficiently and accurately using our point-of-sale system.
- Contribute to achieving sales targets and fostering a positive customer experience through teamwork.
- Support inventory management, receiving, stocking, and rotating merchandise as needed.
Necessary Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old (21 in certain states).
- Available to work weekends and holidays, embracing the fast-paced nature of retail.
- Strong communication skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English fluently.
- Basic math skills, covering addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
- Ability to frequently lift 10 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and undergo a criminal history background check.
- Exhibit a friendly and approachable demeanor, strong attention to detail, reliability, responsibility, and adaptability.
