As a part of our continuous focus on offering high-performance and cutting-edge products and solutions to our markets, the field of advanced power conversion, power management and controls and embedded systems is of strategic and critical importance. In this context, Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corp. is seeking a highly talented, motivated, creative, and experienced Sr. Engineer in the field of Power Electronics, Power Management technologies and applications, to include development, testing and validation.
This position allows the candidate to advance the power electronics technology roadmap that both supports the existing company product line and enables expansion for the next-generation products.
The successful candidate must be able to work independently on new power electronics concepts (advanced development) which can be demonstrated to be mass produced while also supporting ongoing customer product development activities as needed.
She / He must have knowledge in power electronics design and simulation and the ability to design and develop products from high-level requirements.
Professional experience in high voltage power supply design environments for highly regulated markets and applications is a definite plus. In this role, some people management / soft skills, coaching and mentoring, are also key requirements to be successful in this role.
What You Will Do :
- Product architecture design development to enable robust solutions from high level requirements.
- Detailed circuit design and analysis to enable reliability and producibility.
- Interface with peers in the Engineering team to implement features desired as described in product / application needs.
- Support the review and interpretation of internal / external customer requirements.
- Responsibilities range from designing, and developing power conversion and control circuits, component selection, bread-boarding, testing, troubleshooting, problem solving, system integration and reporting results.

Our good faith estimate of the wage range for this role is $111,000 - $155,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors. In addition to base pay, we offer a full benefits package.
