Paint Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate(no experience needed) will have a strong background in both residential and commercial painting, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects. Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence are essential for this role.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
• Apply paint using various techniques including airless paint spraying and traditional brush methods.
• Perform fixture installation and caulking to ensure a professional finish.
• Collaborate with clients or project managers to understand color theory and design preferences for renovations.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for remodeling tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the project duration.
• Follow safety protocols while working with chemicals and equipment.

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial painting or residential projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with fixture installation, caulking, and remodeling practices is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of color theory and its application in various settings.
• Proficient in using both power tools and hand tools related to painting tasks.
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player when required.
