Responsibilities
- Drafting and reviewing written deliverables such as media advisories, press releases, newsletters, and brochures.
- Creating digital, video, audio, and print content.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure that messaging is consistent and aligns with organizational goals
- Managing the Assemblymember’s official website and social media presence.
- Coordinating rapid-response crisis communications.
- Organizing events and promotions to promote the organization’s message
- Planning events such as fundraisers, panel discussions, and press conferences.
- Handling media relations, such as scheduling public interviews.
- Traveling to Albany or events to represent the Assemblymember.
