JBG Sculpture is offering a unique opportunity to join the team. We produce large-scale public monuments in bronze as well as small scale figurative work.
We are looking for a very organized and tidy individual interested in gaining experience and being exposed to the variety of processes involved in the production of cast bronze sculpture including :
- Mold making
- Clay modeling
- Studio maintenance
- Woodwork
In addition to learning these skills, the position would also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the studio, making deliveries, and running errands, among other duties as assigned.
A background in art or sculpture is preferred. The ideal candidate is an organized individual who likes to work with their hands and who can learn new skills quickly. We’re looking for someone with a good work ethic, a good sense of humor, and a desire to learn and grow with the position. The work is active and demanding, so the candidate must be comfortable being on their feet all day and have the ability to lift 40lbs.
