WSBT has an immediate opening for a Producer / Host for our Hometown Living Show. This position will offer the best of being behind the scenes and in front of the camera. This person will help produce the show and be in the community reporting on news that matters to our viewers during the week. We are looking for someone who is flexible, creative, and energetic and who can think and perform outside the box. The ideal candidate should have an understanding of what goes into a good story. They should have great writing skills, a solid work ethic and a positive attitude.

- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Assists with all daily show preparation and content generation
- Assist the Executive Producer with booking guests and writing teases
- Flexibility and on-the-spot problem solving abilities
- Experience with managing live shots is required; Experience with Live-U is a plus
- Professional interaction and collaboration with clients and guests
- Ability to carry out sales segments as assigned
- Contribute content to the website and all digital platforms
- Coordinate and meet with Marketing Consultants and Managers to schedule sales clients for interviews and shoots
- Interact with viewers on social media
- Produce sales segments (live and pre-taped) in rundown
- Create and order graphics for paid / non-paid segments
- Select or provide b-roll for interviews
- Proficient with non-linear editing (i.e. Avid) and newsroom systems, such as iNews
- Strong writing skills and news judgment
- Sharp video shooting and editing skills
- Must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving record
