Provides primary health care and performs selective medical services in a family practice setting under the supervision of clinic physicians in accordance with the laws and regulations of the State of California, and the policies and procedures of the clinic. Work requires the knowledge and skills necessary to provide direct patient care appropriate to patient population of specialty. Conduct physical assessments, perform and interpret diagnostic tests, provide screenings, interventions, counseling, and prescribe medications.
Minimum Requirements :
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant training program
- Must hold a current Physician Assistant certification and / or license, recognized by the State of California
- Experience in a primary health care setting preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Strong desire to offer exceptional care and work well with supportive team of professionals
