Floor Care Specialist

Floor Care Technician- Full Time

Shift :  5 : 00Pm-1 : 30 AM

Job Duties

• Safely perform floor care tasks including waxing, stripping and buffing, properly using chemicals and machinery as instructed
• Carpet care properly using extractors, encapsulation and other chemicals and methods as instructed to pre-treat stains and clean carpet
• Respond to other service requests as needed for tasks such as emergency response and construction cleanups
• Follow all written work instructions for jobs, for the specific areas and tasks identified, and timely document labor time and scope of work completed
• Safely use and manage company-issued equipment, chemicals and vehicles, and report any items needing repair
• Properly use company-issued personal safety equipment
• Know and follow company safety protocols, and correct others that may not follow safety protocols to insure public and employee safety by utilizing wet floor and restroom closed signage
• Demonstrate working knowledge of floor maintenance, carpet maintenance and construction cleaning
• Ability to work independently in carpet cleaning and floor buffing
• Ability to anticipate the needs of the Lead in the execution of team duties
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn, and improve upon current technical skills and knowledge, and advance to a higher level of company responsibility
• Safely use and manage company-issued equipment and chemicals, and attend scheduled safety meetings
• Understand SDS, chemical usage on the job, and the importance for their personal safety
• Comply with CA law regarding required rest breaks and meal periods, and demonstrate proper and accurate timecard documentation
• Cheerfully execute company objectives

• Exhibit punctuality, frugality, trustworthiness, and high expectation for quality
• Read, speak and understand English
• Technicians capabilities are primarily measured by the flawless execution of tasks scheduled by the Supervisor. Flawless execution takes into account the consistency, speed, quality of work, as well as appearance, punctuality, initiative, willingness to learn, and personal accountability.

Physical Demands :

Stand, bend, and carry items weighing up to 30 lbs.

Stand and walk throughout shift

Make repetitive movements including, but not limited to, bending or squatting.

This positions requires to travel to different locations using a company vehicle, starting point will be the same location at all times in the Sacramento area.

Requirements :

You must be 18 years old

Valid driver license

Good driving record

You must be 18 years old.

Must be able to be counted and relied upon; be on time.

Must agree to wear any and all necessary personal protective equipment.

Possess the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Requires following safety policies and procedures (such as locking doors, using proper chemicals and reporting incidents).
