Spencer//Butcher Group – Sterling Heights, MI
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 2pm-10pm
Job Summary
To Maintain Safety and cleanliness standards and fully understand the company’s policies and operation philosophies. To operate with in Quality policies, procedures, systems and any authority mandate such as OHSA, ESA, WSIB, THSO etc.
Job Duties
- React to any Health and Safety concerns in a timely manner with due diligence
- Help prepare and maintain all necessary Quality documentation.
- Develop, monitor and maintain schedules as required.
- Liaise with the Customer and Suppliers as necessary and assist in countermeasures, containment, and problem resolutions.
- Prepare presentations and reports as required (Pareto, scrap, defect, overtime).
- Supervise inspectors / auditors, as required.
- Create monthly and weekly quality plans as necessary
- Trend all defects and analyze daily to implement effective and irreversible corrective actions
- Promote and find ways to implement “In Station Quality”
- Ensure all schedules are maintained including audits, tool and equipment calibrations, training, improvements etc.
- Maintain inspection standards as required. Update inspection standards as per customer and internal demands
- Develop and maintain all Quality instructions, procedures, as required.
- Educate associates in quality standards, quality policy, best practices, etc..
- Support and train inter-company personnel as required.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
