Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient by providing direct dental care services under the general supervision of a dentist.
- Provide excellent customer service by looking for opportunities to offer same-day care and educate patients and parents in oral hygiene instruction.
- Assess the dental condition and needs of patients, review medical history, and guide parents and patients through the treatment process.
- Take x-rays, save them into patient charts when necessary, and assist with dental and perio charting.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Dental Hygienist in good standing.
- Experience is highly valued but not always required.
- Proficiency in another language may be beneficial.
