What are the responsibilities and job description for the Renewable Energy Field Leader position at Spencer Ogden?
Spencer Ogden is looking for a highly experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee the construction of a 7MW Ground Mount Solar Project in Du Quoin, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background and 3-5 years of experience in construction, specifically in renewable energy projects.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct on-site personnel, including subcontractors and electricians
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards
- Conduct site inspections, oversee testing, and maintain high-quality installation standards
- Keep stakeholders informed through regular updates and progress reports
- Maintain thorough project documentation
- Coordinate with engineers, permitting authorities, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless project execution
This is a 12-month contract with 100% on-site presence required, Monday through Friday. Occasional travel to Indiana will be covered, including flights, rental cars, mileage, and hotel expenses.
