We are looking for a floor Production Manager to manage our manufacturing plant. The production manager must maintain a strong working knowledge of all industry standards and practices as well as the company's products and services. To be successful, you should display strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
Production Manager Responsibilities:
- Managing up to 120 fabrication and assembly personnel.
- Writing engineering change requests.
- Assisting with or performing administrative tasks, such as managing and updating invoices, overseeing new orders, and tracking inventory.
- Documenting changes in production procedures.
- Understanding of fabrication equipment and function.
- Understanding of assembly and quality assurance procedures.
- Maintaining a positive and safe work environment.
- Maintaining monthly shipping goals and product quality standards.
- Maintaining a strong working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws, ensuring the company's adherence to these regulations, and remaining current on the industry's standards and new innovations, materials, tools, and processes.
- Able to effectively work with all departments of the company including Engineering, Customer Service, Parts & Service, Accounting, Purchasing, HR and upper management.
Requirements:
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Must be analytical, detail orientated and accurate.
- Organization and time management skills are key to success.
- Minimum 7 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 5 years supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of commercial cooking equipment a plus.
- Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
