Landscape Maintenance Account Manager
Waverly Landscape Services is looking for an Account Manager to manage new and existing client relationships, oversee ongoing property maintenance and seasonal needs. In this position, you will ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining budget goals, as well as source new business to increase our landscape maintenance portfolio.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with new and existing clients
- Facilitate transition from landscape construction client to a landscape maintenance client
- Work with client to develop a property maintenance plan
- Work with Operations Manager to schedule crews and equipment as needed
- Communicate with clients and visit properties regularly to ensure clients’ needs are being met
- Build and develop landscape maintenance client portfolio by generating referrals from existing clients and developing overall marketing and sales strategy
- Manage account estimates, contracts, and upsell services
- Accurately invoice clients monthly and maintain receivables using Aspire software system
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Thorough understanding of horticultural practices, plant species identification and knowledge of plant varieties
- Some experience with disease & insect identification and control a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, landscape crews and management
- Excellent time management and organizational skills are required
- Ability to proactively and independently problem solve as issues arise
- Ability to learn new software systems independently
Education and Experience/Licenses:
- High school diploma or equivalent and 3 to 5 years of landscape maintenance account management experience required
- Valid driver’s license required
- MCH, MCLP, or similar certifications a plus
- Proficient computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, knowledge of Aspire is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and stand
- Must be able to work in all types of weather, including extremely hot and extremely cold temperatures
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
