Summmary
Performs supervisory work in various landscape construction activities. Duties include the supervision and coordination of workers engaged in landscape construction projects. Responsibilities also involve the utilization of production goals based on experience and established practices to improve construction procedures, ground conditions, in-service training, analysis of equipment utilization and record keeping of project labor cost.

- Assigns workers and crews to specific projects and tasks.
- Oversees the quality and quantity of work produced in assigned areas.
- Supervises multiple projects and multiples crews: foreman, laborers and subcontractors.
- Inventories and orders small tools, supplies and materials for operations.
- Assist Project Manager to process estimates, proposals, sales and change orders.
- Schedule pre-construction meeting with project Foreman or subcontractors.
- Ensures Customer Quality Check In occur as prescribed by Project Manager.
- Set up Foreman and Projects with all paperwork for operations.
- Interview potential new construction personnel and process new hire paperwork.
- Schedule equipment and construction fleet service with Shop Manager.
- Directing and supervising Subcontractors. Ensures that subcontractors conform to C&D schedules, contract obligations, plans and specifications. Manages and assists Foreman and subcontractors for on time completion and resolution of disputes or claims.
- Maintain safe work behavior on projects.
- Does not let unsatisfactory work or behavior go without correction and/or reprimand, implements correction of mistakes or poor work immediately following discovery.
- Seeks out errors, conflicts, omissions and ambiguities in plans and specifications before planning the job or ordering materials.
- Knows general price range of common materials, seeks local sources which provide better price or service than budgeted in the bid.
- Studies and learns plans and specifications for C&D's whole contract scope before starting work.
- Accepts and achieves the prime objective of making profit on each job. Plans and controls all activities toward that objective.
- Maintains daily diary, operating records and periodic progress report on operations and projects.
- Obtains clarifications, using strategic language to guide customer responses for C&D's benefit and profit advantage.
- Knows that content and quality of a project is based on individual job specifications. Prevents overbuilding beyond specified (contract) requirements.
- As a salaried-exempt employee, may be required to work after hours or on weekends to accomplish tasks
Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
