We are looking to hire an experienced Tree Climber. If you are a hard-working team player that takes direction well, has a positive attitude, good communication skills and you want to learn and grow with a great company, we’d like to talk with you!
- Climb and prune various types of trees above heights of 20 feet.
- Perform specialized pruning and takedowns.
- Operate equipment (e.g., chainsaw, chipper, hand tools) safely.
- Demonstrate proper tree pruning techniques.
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure safety.
- Demonstrate basic tree and disease identification skills.
- Complete paperwork in an accurate, legible, and timely manner.
- Provide excellent service (e.g., accurate, complete, and timely) to clients, work-site partners, and other staff in a courteous and efficient manner.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years experience in tree trimming or related formal education.
- Ability to obtain and select pertinent information through investigation, observation and questioning.
- Ability to organize and combine different pieces of information into meaningful order to identify problems.
- Possess and utilize good interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, employees, and management.
- A valid Massachusetts driver's license with a driving record acceptable to the company's insurance carrier is required – a CDL is a plus.
