Job Description:-

• Fortinet FortiGate Administration role, you'll need strong network security knowledge, practical experience with FortiGate firewalls, and potentially Fortinet certifications like NSE 4 or higher. 
• Network Security Expertise: A solid understanding of network security fundamentals, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing protocols, and security protocols like IPSec and SSL VPN.
• FortiGate Experience: Hands-on experience in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting FortiGate firewalls is crucial.
• Firewall Concepts: Knowledge of firewall concepts, including intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
• Network Monitoring: Familiarity with network monitoring tools and practices.
• Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve network issues.
• Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with colleagues and customers.
• Compliance and Security Standards: Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards in cybersecurity.
• Scripting/Automation (Optional but beneficial): Experience with scripting or automation tools can be a plus. 

Certifications (Highly Recommended):-

• Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) Certifications: NSE 4 or higher certifications demonstrate a strong understanding of Fortinet products and technologies.
• Other Relevant Certifications: CCNA, or equivalent work experience can also be beneficial. 

Job Responsibilities:-

• Configuration and Management: Configure, manage, and maintain FortiGate firewalls, including L1, L2, and L3 firewall support, IPS/IDS rules, VPN, and proxy settings. 
• Security Implementation: Implement and manage cloud-based security solutions, such as AWS/Azure WAF. 
• Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Troubleshoot network issues, diagnose problems, and implement solutions to maintain network security and performance. 
• Documentation and Reporting: Document configurations and procedures, and generate reports on network security performance. 
• Staying Current: Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and security threats.
