As a Case Manager you will play a pivotal role in providing crucial support, guidance, and resources to the youth in our Residential Treatment programs. In this position, you will help them overcome their challenges by providing a full array of case management services. Along the way you will also work to ensure that their individual treatment needs are being met and established goals are being addressed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide an array of case management services that may include attending court hearings, clinical staffings, and coordinating client visits.
- Ensuring all documentation is completed and accurate.
- Transporting clients as needed to visits and appointments
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, MHP certified per Medicaid standards, at least 21 years old, a valid Illinois driver’s license, and two years experience in child welfare
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field and previous case management experience
Skills: Must be organized, able to multi-task, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, basic computer skills, and detail oriented. Must be able to interact with, and relate to, diverse groups of people. Must have the strength/mobility needed to perform Therapeutic Crisis Intervention.
Miscellaneous: Must pass all pre-employment drug screens and background clearance. Must maintain driving clearances. Must be willing to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the program.
Program Population: The youth in this program have a complexity of mental health issues/disorders. The intensity of these mental health issues warrants placement in a highly structured, supervised and safe therapeutic environment. The focus of the program is to provide crisis stabilization/management, behavioral management, and clinical treatment in effort to reduce the mental health disturbance and assist the youth in returning to a less restrictive setting. Due to the severity of youth’s mental health issues in their program the use of physical restraints and/or seclusion are necessary at time.

Pay: $22.76 - $25.64 per hour
