Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for Counselors at Spero Health located in various locations throughout the state of KY. Counselors will be responsible for providing group and individual counseling services to support their recovery journey. Counselors work along side a clinical team including medical providers, case managers, and peer support specialists.
Qualifications
- Experience in behavioral health counseling and substance use disorder treatment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to provide emotional support and build trusting relationships with patients
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities
- Team player with the ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification
- Experience working in outpatient clinics or addiction treatment settings
